Refocusing & Regrouping

Sorry it has been months since I’ve posted. This year and last certainly has its ups and downs. We lost our dear Dominique at the end of January. She was an amazing young lady barely 18 and an inspiration to us all. She had been fighting sickle cell anemia and moya moya disease since she came into the world. At the age of 6, she had a stroke, but she pulled through. The doctors didn’t her expect her to make it, but she proved them wrong. She’s been fighting since she got here and the last Sunday in January, she passed away.

Her fight has inspired me. I realized that I could do a lot more than I have been doing. I am taking the time to refocus and regroup. I am making this year a dedication to my little cousin who is no longer with us. I am doing to do the things that I set out to do… well some of them anyway. This is probably the shortest blog I’ve written, but I’m in regroup mode. I’m gearing up for something big. Let’s see where this goes…
